iCube was commissioned to examine the likely levels of footfall that would be experienced
within the proposed extension of the White City retail development.
The scheme looks to develop the land to the north of the existing centre for a residential
and retail scheme that links both to the Westfield mall and the emerging regeneration
zone to the north around White City.
The assignment looked to develop an understanding of the current drivers for the
centre’s footfall before estimating the changes that would be likely to occur with
the expanded scheme, the new residential demands and, in the longer-term, the regeneration
of White City.
