Chelsfield, Stanhope and London & Continental Railways

The Stratford City Development Partners are to construct some 15m sq ft of development north of the town centre around the new International Station at Stratford. Comprising a major new retail destination, over 5,000 homes and 5m sq ft of office accommodation, the development represents one of the largest planning applications ever made in London.

iCube has been intimately involved in the project for the past three years, providing a range of services including strategic transport planning advice, the preparation of travel plan initiatives and detailed assessment of station designs.

Outline planning permission was granted in the autumn of 2004 and the team is now preparing a detailed masterplan for the first zone of the scheme. iCube continues to provide support to the design and planning process.
